Our Team
Our staff combines parent coaching and modeling to facilitate long-lasting behavior changes. The strategies we utilize focus on positive prevention measures scientifically proven to help reduce challenging behavior. Our programs range from intensive behavior therapy to parent training. You and your family will be paired with an expertly trained behavior management team to target the reduction of challenging behaviors such as tantrums, aggression, screaming, throwing, and self-injury.
Owner/Director, Behavior Analyst
Joey has dedicated the last twenty years to teaching families the Principles of Applied Behavior Analysis. Joey started Behavior Resources because she is passionate about sharing her knowledge to successfully intervene upon challenging behaviors and promote new replacement behaviors. Joey holds a Bachelor's degree in Psychology as well as a Master's degree in Human Behavior and is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst.
Behavior Analyst
Philip has an extensive background in Applied Behavior Analysis and over a decade of experience in the field. He began as behavior technician and worked his way to achieving his BCBA license. Philip has experience both in the home and school setting and with a wide range of client abilities. Philip is passionate about teaching families to effectively work with their children through the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis. Philip holds a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology and a Master’s Degree in Education with a focus on the Foundations in Behavior Analysis.
BEHAVIOR Analyst
Marnie has dedicated the last six years to developing her knowledge in the field of Behavior Analysis. Over the course of her career Marnie has witnessed the positive impact of various behavior change techniques, but has decided to dedicate her career to the field of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) as it has proven to be the most effective in her experience. Marnie holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology as well as a Master’s in Education, with a focus on ABA Curriculum and Instruction. Born and raised in Yolo county, Marnie is passionate about providing excellent quality ABA therapy in the community she grew up in.
Program Coordinator & Behavior Consultant
Krystal started working in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) in 2013 as a Behavior Tutor. Soon thereafter she was promoted to a Lead Behavior Tutor and subsequently a Behavior Consultant. Krystal has experience working with both children and adolescents and is passionate about teaching her client's parents the basic principles of Applied Behavior Analysis. At Behavior Resources, Krystal oversees the Clinical and Administrative processes.
Program Supervisor & Behavior Consultant
Yessi joined the Behavior Resources team in 2018 after graduating from the University of California, Davis with a major in Human Development and a minor in Psychology. Yessi is a quick learner and is a natural with children. She easily develops a rapport with her clients and their families and is passionate about giving back to her community. Yessi has aspirations to return to school to earn her masters degree focusing her coursework in Human Development and Human Behavior.
Lead Behavior Technician & Trainer
Sheila's background in peer mentorship has provided her with valuable skills and experiences that make her an excellent fit for her role as a lead behavior technician and staff trainer. Her warm and outgoing nature is a significant asset, allowing her to quickly build rapport with new families. At Behavior Resources, Sheila works in a variety of environments and is highly adaptable to each of her learner’s needs. Sheila holds a Bachelor of Arts in Child and Adolescent Development from San Jose State University in addition to a minor in Psychology.
Behavior consultant & Social Group Leader
With energy and charisma, Cecilia works diligently to promote meaningful and functional changes in her clients' lives. She graduated in August of 2010, with an Associates degree in Early Childhood Education. Cecilia is bilingual in English and Spanish and is proud to serve her local community. She boasts over sixteen years of experience working in the classroom setting supporting children on the Autism Spectrum. Cecilia joined Behavior Resources in September 2018 and has worked in a variety of environments. Her hard work and dedication to her clients makes her a fantastic candidate for her roles as Behavior Consultant and Social Group Leader.

Celeste graduated from Arizona State University with a Master’s Degree in Special Education with an emphasis in Applied Behavior Analysis. She is passionate about the Principles of Applied Behavior Analysis and working with families to help develop their independence working through challenging behavior. Celeste joined Behavior Resources with four years of ABA experience, including parent coaching. She is bilingual in English and Spanish. At Behavior Resources, Celeste is a Behavior Consultant and Social Group Leader.
Registered Behavior Technician
Ana is a Registered Behavior Technician that joined Behavior Resources in 2022. Ana's deep connection to her hometown fuels her commitment for providing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services in outlying service areas such as Colusa, Williams, Arbuckle and Dunnigan, CA. Ana is fluent in both English and Spanish, which allows her to support her patients and their families in their native tongue. At Behavior Resources, Ana has established a reputation for her playful and engaging approach to therapy. Ana is most passionate about fostering independence with her clients by teaching self-help skills like toileting and brushing teeth.
REGISTERED BEHAVIOR TECHNICIAN
Emma has spent many years working with children in a variety of settings. At Behavior Resources, she holds a position as a Registered Behavior Technician providing therapy to patients with Autism Spectrum Disorder. She is enthusiastic about facilitating meaningful and long term behavior changes. Emma works diligently to find ways to capture her client's motivation to help them achieve their program goals. Emma graduated from UC Irvine with her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology in March of 2022.

Alondra was raised in West Sacramento and holds a deep commitment to positively impacting her community. With care and consistency, Alondra forms strong bonds with her patients to help promote new skills. She has worked as a Registered Behavior Technician at Behavior Resources since 2023 and graduated from CSU Sacramento with her BA in Sociology. Her ultimate goal is to become a paralegal and continue to serve the community she grew up in.

Sarah, a Yolo County native, is grateful for the opportunity to give back to her community. With a Bachelor's in Sociology from UC Davis, her teaching experience and passion for learning make her a perfect fit for working as a Behavior Technician. Families appreciate her gentle, playful teaching style. At Behavior Resources, Sarah is a Registered Behavior Technician who supports patients in the home and daycare setting.

With a background in providing support within special education classrooms, Nayeli brings knowledge and expertise to her role of Registered Behavior Technician at Behavior Resources. Her warm and vivacious nature creates engaging sessions for the families she serves. Nayeli holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Chicano Studies from UC Davis. She is bilingual in Spanish and English. Nayeli was raised in Yolo County and is very dedicated to providing services in the community she grew up in.
REGISTERED BEHAVIOR TECHNICIAN
Mia is a dynamic addition to Behavior Resources. She recently graduated from UC Davis with her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a Sociology minor. In addition to her role as Registered Behavior Technician, Mia is also a research assistant for a project at UC Davis’ Center for Mind and Brain, exploring how preschool age children express theory of mind. Mia is passionate about advocating for mental health services for historically marginalized communities and aspires to further her education to become a clinical child psychologist. She brings a sense of calm determination and empathy to her therapy sessions with clients.
